Microwave it for about 2 min. 30 sec. (500W), and leave it for 1 min. Grill: grill it in the oven toaster for 4 - 5 min. until it's golden brown, and leave it for 1 min. Boil: pour water in a deep pan, place mochi in it and bring it to boil. Simmer it for two min. until it's softened. Time may differ in size and a cooking ware. Cooking ideas: Dip cooked mochi in soy sauce and wrap it with nori (seaweed sheet) it's ready to serve! Put it in your favourite soup for a perfect meal! As a dessert, serve it with Kinako sugar or sweet red beans as you like!
