Our Berbere (pronounced "bari-baray") Spice is a fiery, hot and spicy blend to help you create meals with an Ethiopian flavour, use this blend sparingly as a little goes a long way, this hot, spicy blend can help you spice up weekday meals and liven up meat, fish, poultry and pulse based dishes.

We suggest a starting point of 3 level teaspoons for a medium heat! Not 4 tablespoons as some recipes may suggest.

Contains: Black pepper, allspice berries, fenugreek seed, cloves, ginger, nutmeg, ajwain seeds, cardamom, coriander, cumin, chillies with a sea salt.
